The Perrins family of Worcester were making guns of various descriptions from the 1830s to about the mid 1890s.  A few years ago I was lucky enough to buy a Damascus barreled 14 bore hammer gun and later discovered that Lynn Hennessy, a shooting friend, also had a couple. Vaughan Wiltshire also had an interest as he had bought a Perrins pepper box pistol in order to donate it to the Worcester museum.

The three of us decided to draw together as much information as we could of this local gun maker and  'The Perrins Owners Club' was born.  We felt that a web site would be a good way of recording the different guns we have discovered to highlight their various features.

This web site also enables anyone to view the guns and forms the backbone for a reference and a central contact point for sharing this information.  We are grateful to Ian Lockie for giving up his time to build the site and act as our web master.

If you have a Perrins gun and would like to join us, all you have to do is fill out the membership form and send it back via the email link below.  We will include you and your gun with your very own page on the web site.

Membership is free and your personal details will not be given out to anyone.  If anyone enquires about your gun the e-mail will be forwarded to you and you can then decide if you wish to reply.

We hope you enjoy the site and look forward to hearing from any other Perrins owners.
